Hawily Podcast?

This is our first ever attempt at Podcasting from the Physics classroom. We used Audacity to record the voice (with a $35 microphone from Radio Shack---USB), a digital camera (from the Summer Tech Camps in Dearborn) and about an hour and a half after school to put it all together. I hope it works!

It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of blogs out there - how do you handle information overload and how do you think RSS might help with that?

My first comment is that the last video was way too quiet, even with the volume all the way up.

Being overwhelmed...sounds like my first post. I'm hoping that the RSS will focus my inputs and keep me updated on stuff that I'm interested in, and not the latest Rap video or JLo's newest child.

I was reading one blog and it talked about how kids will just start clicking buttons, while adults will hit a roadblock and just stop. So, instead of listening to the whole video, I just started clicking. I dragged my unwanted feeds into the trash and when I watched the video in its entirety, I realized I had found a way around a roadblock without even realizing it. Maybe I'm not so dumb after all.

Also, I noticed that working from my Mac at home, the look is a bit different than on the videos and it's a bit simpler.
